Your prices, your pay and your customers stay yours.
A shop's price sheet, its payroll and its customer list are the business. PDRCore keeps each shop's information apart from every other shop's, and inside a shop each person sees what their role allows.
Two shops ask the same question. Each sees only its own.
The keeping-apart happens in the database itself, not only in the screens. Switch shops to see it. The rows are an illustration.
| Shop | Panel | Size | Dents | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cedar Ridge | Hood | Quarter | 16–30 | $225.00 |
| Gulf Coast | — | — | — | Not shown |
| Cedar Ridge | Roof | Nickel | 31–50 | $400.00 |
| Gulf Coast | — | — | — | Not shown |
| Cedar Ridge | Left Fender | Dime | 6–15 | $100.00 |
| Gulf Coast | — | — | — | Not shown |
The query asked for everything and got three rows. The filter is a policy on the table, not a clause in the query — so code that forgot to scope, or a token used somewhere it shouldn't be, still cannot reach another shop's prices.
What PDRCore does with your shop's information.
Walled off from every other shop
Each shop's information is kept apart from every other shop's by the database itself, not only by the screens.
Each person sees what their role allows
Owners, admins, billing admins, estimators and technicians each see their own part of the shop, and an owner can change what a role, or one person, may do. Nobody changes their own permissions.
Pay stays with the owners
A technician sees their own cars and their own pay, never anyone else's. Seeing everyone's pay and running payroll are for owners only.
Approved means locked
An approved estimate is the version of record. Changes go in a supplement with a reason, every sent version is kept, and every save is in the estimate's history with who made it.
Paid pay periods stay paid
A locked pay period's pay is frozen. It can be reopened until it's marked paid, and never after.
Customer links show the customer's view
An estimate link shows what the customer should see and nothing of your costs or pay. Customer document pages are kept out of search engines and out of shared caches.
Approvals are recorded
Approving online asks for a one-time code sent to the customer on the RO, and records the name, the time, the version and its check code.
Your texting keys stay on the server
The keys for your shop's texting account are kept on the server. Screens show only their last four characters.
The camera, only when you ask
Only PDRCore's own pages can ask for the camera, and your phone asks your permission first.
Reports and documents export
Reports download as PDF or CSV, and every estimate, invoice and statement is a PDF you keep. A full export of your shop's records isn't built yet.
